Napa Soap Company is the answer to a search for soap that utilized ecofriendly, local ingredients. While living in the hills of Napa with their young children and two dogs, dirt was a big part of our founders' lives!

With all the washing going on, they became concerned with the ingredients in the typical array of mass-produced soap products on the market. They found themselves spending quite a bit of time trying to find safe, gentle cleansers with ingredients they could actually pronounce to use on their little dirt devils.

Armed with love and far too much home grown lavender, they started making soap in their garage! Soon, they were giving it to everyone they knew. The positive feedback and frequent requests for more convinced them to officially launch Napa Soap Company in 1999. 

Since our founding, we have expanded to create a line of trustworthy products that are used and enjoyed by many. 

We are fortunate that cold-pressed grapeseed oil is a byproduct of our local wine industry, one that offers many therapeutic benefits. Grapeseed oil, essential oils and other natural ingredients are incorporated throughout our product line. 

Napa Soap Company changed hands in 2023, and we are pleased to share that we are still family owned and operated. We hope you will continue to enjoy our products with the next generation, just as we have!
