Our Eco Friendly Practices
At Napa Soap Company, we care about the environment and we hope you do too. Here are some of the things we do to help keep in line with our goals:
Our commitment to minimal waste.
Our packaging and paper are made from recycled materials. We create refills and bulk products to reduce packaging and waste. We also maintain a local, 2-mile stretch of road via the Adopt-A-Highway program.
Ecofriendly ingredients.
We use organic ingredients whenever they are available to us. We only purchase our vegetable oils from legitimate, established companies. In regards to Palm Oil, we purchase only from suppliers that are members of Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil ( www.rspo.org) and subscribe to their goals.
Some of our customers are concerned about Palm Oil in particular and the methods that some producers follow to grow and harvest Palm Oil. We encourage you to check out the RSPO website as it has an interesting take on the sustainability of Palm Oil. We feel confident that our use of palm oil in our products does not have a negative impact on the environment and we hope this may help you feel confident that Napa Soap Company products are created using environmentally friendly practices.
